WHO WE ARE

For over 52 years, Tutoring Plus has served youth in grades 4-12 to strengthen their academic performance and support their social and personal development.Our vision is a world where every young person is empowered with the knowledge and confidence to create their future.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

As a Tutoring Plus volunteer tutor/mentor, you will work one-on-one with the same student or with the same small group of students in our enrichment programs each week for the duration of the program. Volunteers can choose from 6 different enrichment programs(science/engineering, coding, gender specific and more). All programs take place in schools and community-based organizations across Cambridge. All of our programs are free of charge and accessible by public transportation.You don’t have to have experience to become a tutor/mentor just have a passion for working in the community and working with youth. Tutoring Plus is not just about homework. We use after-school time to forge meaningful relationships between students, volunteers, and staff that will inspire academic and personal growth.
