Friends of Mount Auburn Cemetery

Mount Auburn Cemetery inspires all who visit, comforts the bereaved, and commemorates the dead in a landscape of exceptional beauty.

The Friends of Mount Auburn Cemetery was established in 1986 to assist in the conservation of the Cemetery’s natural beauty and to promote the appreciation of its cultural, historic and natural resources.

We are grateful to our talented and devoted volunteers, and always welcome new members to the team. With many diverse volunteer positions, you are sure to find an opportunity that matches your experience and interest.

Volunteers contribute to the success of every department at Mount Auburn, including education, horticulture, preservation and our archives.
