WHO WE ARE
CLSACC provides free legal services and affordable mental health services. Legal services include family law, disability benefits, housing eviction prevention, and immigration, asylum.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
CLSACC offers volunteer opportunities in several areas:
- For mental health professionals to provide individual counseling and group counseling, and to conduct forensic psychological evaluations for immigrants who are asylum seekers, VAWA, and U Visa applicants.
- For lawyers, paralegals, interpreters, law students and non-legal professionals to the Legal Program. We welcome attorneys with all levels and types of experience and provide trainings in many subject areas. Pro bono cases are available, as well as single day and short-term assignments.
- For volunteers with administrative skills. Available projects might include planning, organizing or working on an events; developing outreach materials and tabling at a community event; assisting with fundraising efforts; helping with major mailings; working with filing systems; or other tasks for which you may have expertise.
