Guiding the next generation of skaters and hockey players in the greater Cambridge, MA and Boston, MA areas.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteers keep Cambridge Youth Hockey running. Parents, friends, and players pitch in every year to support our teams, doing everything from coaching to communications to fundraising.Check out our volunteer opportunities listed below, and please feel free to suggest other ways in which you would like to help.

Coach For CYH -all travel levels, Girls and CHHL.

Instructional Programs -Help to register players, equip new players, answer parent questions, and get new skaters and players on the ice.

Learn To Skate Program – Coach Cambridge’s youngest skaters.

Team ManagersRecruiting – Help create and distribute fliers, post information about our programs in libraries, newspapers, online, etc.

Tournament Coordinators Communications Gurus – Social media management, league info, community outreach, player recruitment.

Equipment Management and Exchange – Organize team jerseys, CYH equipment and equipment rooms. Help collect and distribute used equipment to families.

Fundraising and Corporate Sponsorship – Contact local businesses, sell ice and merchandise, assist with raffle, etc.

Board of Directors and Administration -11 Board Members serving two-year terms. Half the Board are elected each year at try-outs.
