Collective Resilience: Building Equitable Emergency Preparedness In Our Communities

Communities Responding to Extreme Weather (CREW) is hosting a DEI Centered Community Preparedness Event.

Led by several amazing guest speakers we will be discussing the unequal impacts of climate change and extreme weather, focusing on the environmental justice communities who are most affected.

During this program we’ll be talking about ways that we can successfully and equitably connect with our communities to create bountiful networks. We’ll conclude with breakout discussions to exchange ideas on how to incorporate justice, equity and diversity into all educational programming and preparedness plans. The program will be open to anyone who is interested, from hubs to community stakeholders, it takes everyone to ensure community preparedness- so invite your friends & colleagues.

This event will take place online on Tuesday April 20th from 3-4:30 pm EST. Join us!
