A daily average of 10 to 12 diapers over the first month of a baby’s life means that a baby may go through around 300 or so diapers in the first month of life!
Diaper donations are incredibly important this year as our community continues to struggle with the pandemic.
Diapers are not covered by food assistance programs including WIC and SNAP. Diapers are in constant demand at food pantries and they often run out.
1 in 3 U.S. families experience diaper need.
When families do not have access to clean diapers, babies are exposed to potential health risks. They are also less likely accepted to daycares, leaving parents unable to attend work.

Ask people bring the diapers to your house in the week leading up to MLK Day.

If you did not receive an assignment, please email us and we’ll get you sorted.
Since we’re not together this year and can’t see all the ways our community is lending a hand, please document!
Please take photos of 1) distributing bags, 2) picking up bags, 3) bring bags to the pantry and email us so we can share our collective work! Tag us on Instagram at @MHH365 or share with us on Facebook. Thanks.
