LEAD A DRIVE

Cambridge, neighbors! Sign up with a friend, family member, classmates, scout troup, team mates or colleagues to lead a drive for MLK Day.

Every year you fill our food pantries, find new homes for gently used clothing and re-stock the book collections at community, learning and support centers.

Every donation is appreciated. Every donation is needed. Thank you for stepping up! 

FOOD DRIVE

Sign up to collect donations for food pantries. We'll send you all the info you need— including where to pick up re-usable bags and a flyer to distribute to 25 neighbors and/or friends asking them to fill the bags with food. You'll then will pick up the food donations and deliver them to your assigned food pantry during MLK Day week (Monday, January 20–Friday January 24) . Thank you!!

BOOK DRIVE

A neighborhood book drive can help local nonprofits help others! We will provide you with bags and a flyer to distribute to 25 neighbors and/or friends asking them to fill the bags with donated books. You will pick up the donations and deliver them to City Hall or the Senior Center on MLK Day! If you can't deliver on MLK Day, we will give you an alternative drop-off address before MLK Day.

CLOTHING DRIVE

Donations of gently used and new clothing help local nonprofits help others! Collect winter itmes such as coats, boots, new socks =, underwaer, and gloves. We'll provide bags and a flyer to distribute to 25 neighbors. You will pick up the donations and deliver them to City Hall or the Senior Center on MLK Day! If you can't deliver on MLK Day, we will give you an alternative drop-off address before MLK Day.
