Prospect Hill Academy, a charter school, was founded in 1996 by a diverse group of community members with the mission to prepare each student for success in college, inspire a lifelong love of learning, and foster responsible citizenship. As a public school of choice, it serves more than 1100 students in grades Kindergarten through 12 on three campuses and four buildings in Cambridge and Somerville, Massachusetts.
At the core of the community is the commitment to promote high standards of academic, personal, and social achievement for all students, regardless of their racial, cultural, educational, or socio-economic backgrounds.
