The Children’s Clothing Exchange allows participants to trade outgrown clothing, books, toys, and gear for age-appropriate items. The program also accepts donations of children’s clothing and toys.
Children’s Clothing Exchange has a cheerful play space that kids are welcome to use while their parents browse for items. Children under the age of five must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the play space. Children’s Clothing Exchange offers free Arts and Crafts on the second and fourth Saturday of most months.
Donations are accepted at 391 Evereteze Way in Cambridge at these times:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
How to Volunteer
Sort Donated Goods
Sort through incoming donations of clothing, toys, books and gear to ensure items meet Solutions at Work’s program standards and organize items for display on shelves and racks.
Oversee Children’s Play Space
Solutions at Work offers children a cheerful, comfortable and safe place play where children of all ages (and their families) can come and enjoy a book, play with toys and board games, participate in arts and crafts activities, interact and talk with other children, or just relax. Volunteers are needed to help children and their parents/guardians select books and toys to take home, read to children, supervise arts and crafts activities, and to keep the space clean and well-organized.
Organize a Clothing Drive or Fundraiser
Work closely with Solutions at Work’s staff to design and implement your own clothing drive or fundraiser for the organization.
