One of the largest chapters in the National Red Cross network, providing services across 145 cities and towns in eastern Massachusetts with a combined population of almost four million, the chapter trains and mobilizes nearly 3,500 volunteers a year who support the delivery of services to over 500,000 people each year.
The Red Cross of Eastern Massachusetts is headquartered in Cambridge. Volunteers are needed for a range of work including disaster preparedness, disaster relief, health and safety instructors, blood drive volunteers to becoming a baby sitting instructor and more.
